Skyjacks Tailifts have over the past 17 years developed and enhanced our Column Lifts to such an extent that these lifts offer the best in reliability available today, A sure testimony to this is the fact that we have not had a single broken cable in over 17 years.

The Skyjacks column lift is one of the most successful vehicle lifts in South Africa today. Our patented working parts ensure reliability whilst requiring very little maintenance. This lift has been developed to cater specifically for the South African market and the challenges faced with logistics today, they are extremely versatile in their applications making them a favourite with many of our South African and African clients.

The column lift is driven by a single hydraulic cylinder which pushes two 11mm cables over a series of pulleys raising and lowering the main platform.

The platform comes in four different sizes basically the width of the vehicle by either 800 / 1000 / 1200 / 1400mm deep.

The platform raises to be flush with the vehicles floor and lowers all the way to the ground for easy loading and offloading. A set of dual purpose stop type ramps can be fitted acting as both load stops to prevent the load from sliding off the lift and ramps which makes for easy loading and off loading of trolleys and pallet jacks etc.

Smooth Platform – A smooth plate platform can be fitted which allows for dragging of items without obstruction

Signage Plate - A flat sheet covering the full platform could be fitted creating an ideal surface for your companies sign writing etc.
