Operator Training

It is a startling fact that operator error is responsible for more than 80% off all repairs that comes through our service division.
There have been many instances over the years where drivers or operators have been severely injured whilst operating the Tail lift. It is important to note that operating the tail lift without having received the necessary training and certification is illegal and therefore punishable by law.

Skyjacks Tailifts have a social responsibility in ensuring that the products we sell are operated by competent operators, as such we have developed a training module which covers all aspects of operation as well as safety not only pertaining to the Tail Lift but also the vehicle.
Training can be conducted at our clients premises although it is preferred that the training is done at our premises where we have all lift models available for product training and demonstrations.

The training is presented by an accredited training official and the operators are tested/evaluated and receives a certificate of competency only once they have passed the evaluation.
